Our Leadership


Tom Groves

Senior Vice President, Health Services for Louisiana Blue

He is responsible for developing and executing our provider network and pharmacy benefit strategies, focusing on quality, member access, cost effectiveness and trend management. His work supports our broader corporate strategies of improving health, experience and affordability of care. 

Tom oversees all Provider Network, Healthcare Value Management (including eleHealth) and Pharmacy functions of the company and has overall responsibility for managing the total cost of care for our members. 

Tom began his career with the Christus system, then joined Louisiana Blue in 2000 as a regional manager for network development. After a stint at Coventry Healthcare, he returned to Louisiana Blue as VP, Network Development in 2008. He left in 2014 to serve as assistant commissioner for the State Division of Administration. Most recently, Tom served as VP for Ochsner Health Network.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from LSU and his MBA and Master of Health Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.


Kristi Jones, RN, CPHQ

Senior Director, Care Delivery

Kristi Jones is an accomplished healthcare leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning clinical nursing, quality improvement, data management, accreditation, population health, and care delivery operations. Since joining Louisiana Blue in 2022 at the launch of eleHealth, the organization’s startup subsidiary, she has played a key leadership role in standing up population health services, improving clinical outcomes, and supporting cost reduction across affiliated practices. In her role, Kristi leads multidisciplinary teams of clinicians and support staff, oversees quality improvement and data management initiatives for Network and Medicare ACOs, and directs care delivery programs and provider-facing services for Louisiana Blue. She also provides leadership for eleHealth Enterprise and key quality performance initiatives.

Throughout her career, Kristi has developed and expanded programs that elevate clinical quality, strengthen provider performance, and advance value-based care. Before joining eleHealth, she held leadership roles with Affinity Health Group and Vantage Health Plan, where she designed quality programs, implemented value-based care initiatives, managed CMS and NCQA compliance, chaired oversight committees for MIPS and CPC+, and led early adopter NCQA recognitions for Louisiana’s only Patient-Centered Connected Care practices. Known for her expertise in continuous quality improvement, data management, EMR reporting, and provider engagement, Kristi is a trusted advisor to clinical teams and physician champions.

Kristi began her career as a nurse in acute care, OB/GYN, and hemodialysis settings. She holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Regents College of New York and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Her leadership is defined by a commitment to excellence, innovation in care delivery, and a deep understanding of the evolving healthcare system.


Lisa Nations

Director of Finance

Lisa Nations serves as Director of Finance for eleHealth.  In this role, Lisa provides financial leadership and manages the financial operations of eleHealth.  She is also responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting and is focused on ensuring effective financial management and reporting for eleHealth. 

Lisa has 20 years of experience in both hospital and clinic financial operations, having most recently served as Director of Finance for the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in Monroe, which includes St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis Medical Group and St. Francis Foundation.  She has a broad array of experience ranging from revenue cycle and payor reimbursement to more traditional accounting and finance functions. 

Lisa is a highly adaptive and process-driven healthcare financial professional providing reliable financial and analytical support to all key organizational stakeholders.  She works collaboratively across interdepartmental teams, leadership teams and other organizational stakeholders to accomplish operational and strategic goals.  Lisa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
