Jessica Hendricks

Nurse Practitioner

Jessica Hendricks is from West Monroe, Louisiana, and has been a nurse practitioner since 2019.

She started her career as a licensed practical nurse before earning her associate degree. She then earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Jessica has been an instructor in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for adults and Pediatric Advanced Life Support for children.

What area of the healthcare field interests you most?
Pediatrics is the healthcare area that interests me most, but I am also interested in chronic care and geriatrics. Preventive care and wellness are really important healthcare topics as well.

• Visiting with patients and learning about different backgrounds
• Helping patients and members connect to different resources available to them
• Patient and family education and teaching

What are some personal details about yourself you’d like to include?
I love traveling and spending time with family. I love animals, working outdoors and gardening.
