Kelly Vance Fields, FNP-C
Kelly Vance Fields, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. A proud native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kelly’s appreciation for the city’s rich culture, resilience, and strong sense of community has helped shape her approach to healthcare and her commitment to serving others.
Kelly earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before continuing her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Southeastern Louisiana University and achieved board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a new graduate Family Nurse Practitioner, she brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients.
Her professional interests include family medicine, cardiology, and women’s health. These areas hold special significance for Kelly, as her interests have been shaped by both her family’s medical history and her own personal experiences with healthcare. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their health and supporting them in making informed decisions about their care.
At EleHealth Care Connect, Kelly especially enjoys working with older adults and building relationships with them through meaningful conversations and education. She values the opportunity to learn about their healthcare needs, provide guidance, and empower them to take an active role in managing their health. Helping patients gain confidence in understanding their conditions and treatment plans is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
Outside of healthcare, Kelly loves to travel and explore new places. She finds joy in discovering destinations she has only previously seen in photographs and creating lasting memories through new experiences. She is also a fan of classic films, with It’s a Wonderful Life holding a special place in her heart as a cherished holiday tradition shared with her mother. When relaxing at home, she enjoys watching competition-based television shows such as The Traitors and Survivor. Her love of learning, connecting with others, and embracing new experiences reflects the compassionate and curious spirit she brings to her patients every day.
