Katie Strahan

Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse

Katie Strahan, from Bernice, Louisiana, earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Louisiana Tech University 2009, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2022 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2025. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

What area of the health care field interests you most?

I have had the privilege of working in pediatrics, women’s health and case management as an RN, and each of those areas holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to further shaping my clinical perspective through serving the Medicare population as a nurse practitioner with population health. I am especially excited about the opportunity to promote wellness and deepen my understanding of chronic condition management.

What do you do enjoy most about your job with eleHealth Care Connect? I most enjoy the health promotion and education aspect of being a population health provider. I love being able to be proactive in educating and empowering patients to lead their healthiest lives.

What are some personal details about yourself?

I love traveling and spending time with my husband and our two children. I am always looking for a new hobby or skill to learn, and I currently enjoy taking a jazz dance class at a local dance studio.
